MEMBERS OF THE CREW AND PASSENGERS WHO SURVIVED THE CRASH OF UNITED AIRLINES FLIGHT 232 AT SIOUX GATEWAY AIRPORT IN JULY OF 1989 HAVE GATHERED IN SIOUX CITY THIS WEEKEND.

THOSE WHO WERE AMONG THE 184 SURVIVORS ON THE PLANE ARE HAVING AN EMOTIONAL REUNION WITH EMERGENCY RESPONDERS WHO HELPED RESCUE THEM 25 YEARS AGO:

JAN BROWN WAS THE HEAD FLIGHT ATTENDANT ON THE AIRLINER:

SUSAN WHITE CALLENDER ALSO SERVED AS A FLIGHT ATTENDANT ON THE PLANE.

SHE PAID TRIBUTE TO THOSE WHO PERISHED IN THE ACCIDENT WHICH WAS CAUSED WHEN ALL THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS FAILED ON THE DC-10.

CAPTAIN AL HAYNES WAS THE PILOT OF FLIGHT 232. HE SAYS THE CREW MEMBERS HAVE MET REGULARLY SINCE THE CRASH, AND IT WAS IMPORTANT FOR THEM TO COME TO SIOUX CITY ONE LAST TIME TO SAY THANKS FOR EVERYTHING THE COMMUNITY DID FOR THE PASSENGERS AND CREW :
