The band posted the announcement on their Facebook page Thursday afternoon.

The 63 year old Walsh has performed with Kansas for most of the last 41 years, joining in 1972 when the group was known as White Clover.

Kansas is best known for the hits “Dust in the Wind”, “Carry On Wayward Son,” and “Point of Know Return”.
