THE SIOUXLAND FREEDOM PARK CONTINUES TO GROW IN SOUTH SIOUX CITY WITH THE DEDICATION OF THE VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL WALL.

A DEDICATION CEREMONY WAS HELD YESTERDAY FOR THE HALF-SCALE BLACK GRANITE WALL AND THE 150 FOOT FLAGPOLE.

SIOUXLAND FREEDOM PARK PRESIDENT MIKE NEWHOUSE SAYS THE WALL IS THE ONLY REPLICA WALL OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL IN WASHINGTON, DC THAT IS FAITHFUL TO ARCHITECT MAYA LIN’S DESIGN.

THE FLAGPOLE FLIES A 30-BY-60 FOOT AMERICAN FLAG.
