TUESDAY IS PRIMARY DAY IN NEBRASKA WITH A CROWDED FIELD RUNNING FOR THE GOP NOMINATION FOR GOVERNOR.

THERE ARE SIX CANDIDATES, INCLUDING CURRENT ATTORNEY GENERAL JON BRUNING, WHO HAS BEEN ENDORSED BY OUTGOING GOVERNOR DAVE HEINEMAN, WHO IS RETIRING BECAUSE OF TERM LIMITS.

ANOTHER CANDIDATE, BUSINESSMAN PETE RICKETTS, HAS BEEN ENDORSED BY U.S. SENATOR MARCO RUBIO OF FLORIDA:

THE REST OF THE PRIMARY FIELD INCLUDES BEAU MCCOY, MIKE FOLEY, BRYAN STONE AND TOM CARLSON.

THERE’S ALSO A BIG FIELD FOR THE REPUBLICAN NOMINATION FOR U.S. SENATE.

FIVE CANDIDATES ARE IN A TIGHT RACE WITH SHANE OSBORN, BEN SASSE, SID DINSDALE, BART MCLEAY AND CLIFTON JOHNSON ON THE GOP BALLOT.

THE DEMOCRATS RUNNING ARE DAVE DOMINA AND LARRY MARVIN.
