THE POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION OF THE REMAINS OF PAMELLA JACKSON AND CHERYL MILLER BRINGS CLOSURE NOT JUST FOR THE FAMILIES OF THE GIRLS WHO WENT MISSING IN 1971, BUT ALSO FOR AUTHORITIES IN CLAY AND UNION COUNTIES WHO HAVE SEARCHED FOR THE GIRLS FOR OVER 40 YEARS.

CLAY COUNTY SHERIFF ANDY HOWE TOOK UP THE CASE 15 YEARS AFTER THE GIRLS DISAPPEARED:

OC…FOR THE FAMILY. :18

SHERIFF HOWE HAS ONE REGRET IN THE CASE:

OC..WHAT HAPPENED NOW. :08

OSCAR JACKSON WAS THE FATHER OF PAM JACKSON, AND DIED AT AGE 102, JUST FIVE DAYS BEFORE THE GIRLS CAR WAS DISCOVERED.

UNION COUNTY SHERIFF DAN LIMOGES SAYS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE CASE FOR HIM IS THAT THE SURVIVING FAMILY MEMBERS NOW KNOW THE FATE OF THE GIRLS:

OC….PUT IT TO REST. :13

THE QUEST TO FIND THE GIRLS INCLUDED SEARCHING THE GROUNDS OF A UNION COUNTY FARM IN 2004.

NOW THAT THE CASE IS RESOLVED, EVIDENCE COLLECTED IN THAT SEARCH WILL BE RETURNED.
