A WISCONSIN MAN IS DEAD AFTER A MULTI-VEHICLE CRASH ON INTERSTATE 29 SOUTH OF SALIX THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

THE IOWA STATE PATROL SAYS 71 YEAR OLD ALLEN J. LUECK OF ROSENDALE, WISCONSIN WAS A PASSENGER IN A NORTHBOUND S-U-V THAT WENT OUT OF CONTROL, CROSSED THE MEDIAN AND COLLIDED WITH TWO SOUTHBOUND VEHICLES.

THE S-U-V’S DRIVER, 69-YEAR OLD GARY SCHWANTES HOLSTEIN, WISCONSIN, AND THREE OTHER PEOPLE, 38 YEAR OLD KEVIN JOHNSON OF SIOUX CITY, 25 YEAR OLD DESIREE LHOTKA OF ONAWA AND 70 YEAR OLD MICHAEL FULLER OF CANADA WERE INJURED IN THE CRASH.
