NOW THAT THE WEATHER IS WARMING UP, ROAD CONSTRUCTION SEASON IS ABOUT TO GET UNDERWAY.

ON MONDAY, NORTH AND SOUTHBOUND INTERSTATE 29 TRAFFIC WILL BE SHIFTED TO THE OUTSIDE LANES FROM A HALF MILE SOUTH TO ONE MILE NORTH OF THE SERGEANT BLUFF INTERCHANGE AT EXIT 141.

THE CONTRACTOR WILL PLACE MEDIAN CROSSOVER PAVEMENT TO ALLOW FOR REPLACEMENT OF THE EIGHTH STREET AND RAILROAD SPUR BRIDGES, AS WELL AS THE NORTHBOUND I-29 PAVEMENT.

KNIFE RIVER OF SIOUX CITY WAS AWARDED THE $9.7 MILLION CONTRACT.
