JIM HENRY, BETTER KNOWN AS THE CANYON KID, PASSED AWAY THURSDAY NIGHT IN MIDLAND, MICHIGAN AT THE AGE OF 90.

HENRY WAS FROM BROOKLYN, NEW YORK AND CAME TO SIOUX CITY WHILE SERVING IN THE MILITARY;

HENRY HELPED FORM THE SIOUX CITY COMMUNITY THEATER AND PERFORMED FOR YEARS.
ONE DAY, HE WAS ASKED ABOUT STARTING A CHILDREN’S SHOW ON A LOCAL TELEVISION STATION…KVTV CHANNEL 9.
