THE POSSIBILITY OF COMBINING THE WOODBURY COUNTY ASSESSORS POSITION WITH THE SIOUX CITY ASSESSOR HAS BEEN DISCUSSED BY BOTH THE COUNTY AND CITY AT DIFFERENT TIMES AS A COST SAVING MEASURE.

TUESDAY AFTERNOON, THE SIOUX CITY CONFERENCE BOARD COMPRISED OF COUNCIL MEMBERS, COUNTY SUPERVISORS AND SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS AMONG OTHERS, TOOK ANOTHER LOOK AT THAT TOPIC.

THE CONFERENCE BOARD VOTED TO APPROVE THE CITY ASSESSORS BUDGET, BUT TOOK NO ACTION ON REAPPOINTING ALAN JORDAN, THE CURRENT CITY ASSESSOR.
