TWO PLEAD NOT GUILTY IN SOUTH SIOUX CITY SHOOTING CASE

TWO SUSPECTS CHARGED IN A DECEMBER SHOOTING DEATH IN SOUTH SIOUX CITY HAVE PLEADED NOT GUILTY TO CHARGES IN THAT CASE.

ASSISTANT DAKOTA COUNTY ATTORNEY ED MATNEY SAYS A WRITTEN PLEA OF NOT GUILTY WAS FILED BY THE LAWYER OF 22-YEAR OLD RAYMOND GONZALES JR.

GONZALES IS CHARGED WITH FIRST DEGREE MURDER AND FELONY TERRORISTIC THREATS IN THE DECEMBER 15TH SHOOTING DEATH OF BONNIE BAKER OF SOUTH SIOUX CITY.

HE REMAINS IN CUSTODY IN THE DAKOTA COUNTY JAIL.

A SECOND SUSPECT IN THE CASE, 25 YEAR OLD DAVID RODRIQUEZ, PLEADED NOT GUILTY TO A FELONY COUNT OF POSSESSION OF A DEADLY WEAPON BY A PROHIBITED PERSON.

HIS TRIAL WAS SET FOR MARCH 1ST.
