MURDER SUSPECT SURRENDERS IN TUCSON

THE SUSPECT WANTED FOR QUESTIONING IN THE DEATH OF A FORMER SIOUX CITY MAN HAS TURNED HIMSELF IN TO AUTHORITIES.

TUCSON POLICE SAY BRYAN LAMAR LEE SURRENDERED SATURDAY NIGHT.

LEE WAS WANTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE MURDER OF 21 YEAR OLD JORDAN ALEXANDER PETERSON. PETERSON’S BODY WAS DISCOVERED IN A DESERT AREA NEAR TUCSON ON JANUARY 13TH.

SGT. MATT RONSTADT OF THE TUCSON POLICE SAYS LEE WAS AWARE THAT AUTHORITIES WERE LOOKINJG FOR HIM, AND TURNED HIMSELF IN AT THE HOUSTON, TEXAS POLICE DEAPRTMENT.

RONSTADT SAYS LEE IS AWAITING EXTRADITION TO ARIZONA.

INVESTIGATORS SAY THEY BELIEVE THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE CASE WHO HAVE YET TO COME FORWARD.

 PETERSON WAS LIVING IN ARIZONA AND WAS LAST HEARD FROM ON NOVEMBER 16TH. POLICE FOUND HIS TRUCK, KEYS AND CELLPHONE TWO DAYS LATER IN TUCSON.
