CITY ART CENTER DIRECTOR AL HARRIS FERNANDEZ SAYS THE FESTIVAL WILL BE HELD AT GRANDVIEW PARK FOR A SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR.

ARTSPLASH MOVED TO GRANDVIEW IN 2011 FROM CHRIS LARSEN PARK BECAUSE OF FLOODING ALONG THE MISSOURI RIVER.

HARRIS FERNANDEZ SAYS THE PUBLIC RESPONDED SO WELL TO THE NEW LOCATION, THE DECISION WAS MADE TO KEEP THE FESTIVAL AT GRANDVIEW PARK AT LEAST ONE MORE YEAR.

A CHECK FOR $21,000 WAS PRESENTED TO 13 NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WHO VOLUNTEERED AT ARTSPLASH TO SUPPORT THEIR MISSIONS.

THE ART CENTER WILL HOST A SILENT AUCTION THIS SATURDAY FROM 10AM UNTIL 7PM TO RAISE ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR ARTSPLASH.

OVER 60 WORKS OF ART DONATED BY LAST YEAR’S FESTIVAL ARTISTS WILL BE AUCTIONED.
