SIOUX CITY—SIOUXLAND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND SIOUXLAND INITIATIVE MEMBERS ANNOUNCED MONDAY THAT THEY’VE CHOSEN CHRIS MCGOWAN AS THEIR NEW PRESIDENT AND CEO.

THE 44 YEAR OLD SIOUX CITY NATIVE, HAS SERVED AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE SIOUXLAND INITIATIVE SINCE 2003.

MCGOWAN SAYS IS COMMITTED TO DOING ALL HE CAN TO SEE HIS HOMETOWN AREA THRIVE.

MCGOWAN, ALONG WITH HIS WIFE, HAVE FIVE KIDS. HE SAYS HE WILL WORK WITH OTHERS TO ENSURE SIOUXLAND’S FUTURE IS BRIGHT FOR ALL AREA CHILDREN.
